I was surprised when I saw Russian alphabet as a name of place in my beijing's maps.me application. I thought the application was wrong or somethings but it was not. It actually Russian town in Beijing opposite to Ritan park in Chaoyang district.
Just across from Ritan park, you will move from traditional Chinese to Russian style. I was surprised by many advertisements, building's name and shops' number in Russian. This area buildings are shopping mall which targets to Russian tourist. I saw a shop assistance speak Russian to her customers. I felt like I was in Russia.
