Zhangye : gansu
Zhangye (张掖) was a famous commercial ancient city in the silk road. However, now Zhangye is famous for the Rainbow mountain which officially called Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park (张掖丹霞国家地质公园)

Transportation : Take a bus from Zhangye West bus station to Danxia National Geological Park. However, I took the share-ride car from the hostel at 40 RMB. for round-trip transport from hostel to Danxia.
At Danxia car parking, there are many stalls that selling souvenirs and tea. The famous product of Gansu and Zhangye is blueberry tea.
Zhangye old town has an ancient walking street called Mingqing Street (明请街) which has many shops and restaurants.
At the end of the Mingqing Street, there is a park called Ganquan Park (甘泉公园) which local people excercise, dance and play chess here.
