Xi'An : Shaanxi

Chang'An
The eastern end of the Silk Road
Xi'an or Chang'an is the beginning of Silk Road and also be the eastern end of the Silk Road. Chang'an, the former name of Xi'an, was a capital city of China for many dynasties. The evidence of a trade route of the silk road can trace back more than 1000BC. However, the trade routes on the silk road were officially established around 130BC. in Han Dynasty. Emperor Wu sent his emissary ZhangQian ( 张骞) to the west. The journey of ZhangQian considered as the officially established of the Silk Road which had been approved by the royal court.

Now, Xi'an (西安) is the capital city of Shaanxi province (陕西)
After the train arrived Xi'an station, the heat wave of Xi'an attacked me caused me sweat like taking a shower. From 14 degree celsius of Qinghai to 39 degree celsius of Xi'an made me feel uncomfortable.
Many people said you're from the tropical country, then why you have problem with hot weather. Yes! I'm from the country that 22-degree celsius considers as winter. Basically, we have summer all year and the seasons we have are hot, hotter and hottest. That's why we don't like hot weather and worship the air conditioning inventor who help us survive in 48-degree celsius.
Then, having a late lunch in the air conditioning restaurant and sip cold chocolate smoothie was a pleasure.
