They always said winter in Beijing is dry, windy and snow a lot. The temperature is below zero.
I spend my whole life in tropical area, then I expect a lot to experience snow in my first Beijing winter. However, this year weather is weird. There are snow in southern part of China but not Beijing!!! THERE IS NO SNOW IN BEIJING THIS YEAR.
So my first Beijing snow's experience was a fake snow!!! The park near my place arranged snow festival so my friends and I went there for snow playing.
Beijing winter activities
In winter, Beijing people are skiing, ice skating and sledding in park. Most of parks in Beijing open for winter activities. The theaters, museums, parks and many historical sites are open and are less crowded than during other seasons.
There were a lot of activities in the festival such as sledding, ice skating, ice maze and etc. which is really popular among kids.
One of my friend wanted to lay down to make a snow angel but after we saw a Chinese guy spitted on the snow....lay down became a terrible idea.
